3 Super Bowl Party Games for All Ages
This weekend the Super Bowl will kick off brining an end to football season. Whether your team will be competing in the big game or not, it’s fun to watch for the commercials and halftime show alone. Let’s not forget to mention Super Bowl snacks!
While the game is fun to watch for many regardless of who will be playing, there are others who like games to keep us entertained between commercials. Today, I’m sharing three Super Bowl party games that are great for all ages. If you’re hosting a Super Bowl party and looking for ways to entertain your guests, these games are perfect. I like the idea of introducing the games at different times throughout the Super Bowl, but you can certainly have them all ready to play at the start of your party as well.
If you read to the end of the post, I will have game cards available for you to download. Party games is one thing you can check off your to-do list in preparation for Sunday’s big game!
Super Bowl Commercial Bingo
Super Bowl commercial bingo features the names of 25 advertisers for the 2023 Super Bowl. The concept is easy - see a commercial for that brand, mark off your square. While you could play “black out” bingo in which you have to fill the whole card, it’s not suggested for this game since the 25 advertisers listed are the same on each card.
I would stick to one of the other traditional bingo games:
Traditional: Connect 5 squares across, up and down, or diagonal
4 Corners: Check off each of the four corners
Postage Stamp: Check four squares together (two across and two down) forming a postage stamp
In our Super Bowl commercial bingo set, there are 10 different cards. If you have 10 or less people, no one will have the same card. This game is also fun for kids. If you want to make this game extra interesting, have a prize waiting for the first winner. Tip: Print a few of each card so you can play another game after someone wins.
Super Bowl Trivia
Test your Super Bowl knowledge with the Super Bowl Trivia game. Each guest will receive the same card and the objective is simple - see who correctly guesses the most questions without using their phones. The winner could be playing for a prize or bragging rights - that’s up to you! While this game is family friendly, younger kids may not know the answers to many of the questions. If you have a large group of kids, consider pairing them up with an adult to create a team.
P.S. - If they give the answer away during the broadcast and someone is paying enough attention to catch it, the answer counts as correct ;)
Guess the Game
This game is fun because you have to have no previous knowledge of sports and it keeps even the non fans tuned into the game. With Guess the Game, each guest will simply guess who they think will do things like score the first touchdown, get the most penalties, win the game and more. This game is also perfect for kids! Have a prize ready at the end of the game for whoever gets the most correct.
Download Your Party Games
The images shown above are from the 2020 version of our Super Bowl Party Games. The game cards you download will have a different design but feature the same questions for Trivia and Guess the Game from 2020. This year’s bingo cards feature advertisers for the 2023 Super Bowl.
